The Toyota Republicans of the South have betrayed this country's manufacturing strength in service of foreign owners. Perhaps it's just short-sighted greed and/or dogmatic blindness. But in the coming decades it may be looked at as a treachery far more venomous than any troglodyte in a middle-eastern cave.

A "free-market" in it's purest form is that of slavery to the strongest and what your mammon worship has sown is the rise of China's fascist capitalism and possible permanent eclipse of American power.

Bill, why do you hate America and Americans? Clearly your site reveals a profoundly reckless right-wing-extremist bias. Open your eyes.

Your cult of greed has damaged America's standing in the world far greater than any enemy we've ever had. Stop being a servant of money and seek honest discourse with your countrymen.

It's understood if you don't have the courage to post this dissenting view. But perhaps someday you will find the courage to question your fanatic assumptions.

So again, why do you hate America and Americans? Is your slavish adherence to dogma so important that you willingly gamble our nations strengths to appease your self-centered greed, or is it simply narcissistic utopianism?

Look to your soul, Bill, and repudiate this madness you advocate that threatens our blessed nation.

General Motors had offered buyouts to all of its 74,000 U.S. hourly employees. [5] Those workers could have elected to take a lump-sum payment of $45,000 or $62,500, depending on their job description, and retire with full benefits. [6]

Republican Sen. George V. Voinovich of Ohio, a strong bailout supporter, said the UAW was willing to make the cuts - but not until 2011.

Why do people want to imitate Herbert Hoover? He is not well remembered.
